Mark Rose wins the FLW Series event on Lake Chickamauga

Marion, AR pro Mark Rose fine tuned his ledge fishing techniques to take the win at the FLW Series Eastern Division bass tournament on Lake Chickamauga, TN.

For four days, Mark Rose used his Lowrance electronics to help pinpoint differences on the ledges in the depths of Chickamauga and target them for a tournament total of 54 pounds and 6 ounces and took home a check for $50,788.00.

Rose edged Goodwill pro Wesley Strader by 2 pounds and 9 ounces.

Rose gave the credit of the win to the Strike King Sexy Spoon and a root beer colored Strike King 6 XD crankbait.

The balance of the top five were:

3rd: Tom Mann Jr., Buford, Ga., 20 bass, 54-4
4th: Andy Montgomery, Blacksburg, S.C., 20 bass, 52-9
5th: Pete Thliveros, Saint Augustine, Fla., 20 bass, 51-1

The top 10 pro anglers from the FLW Series Eastern Division after the season ended qualified for the 2011 Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Ouachita in Hot Springs, Ark. They are:
