Absolutely yes! 100% of our rods will perform perfectly in saltwater conditions for any type of species. Simply rinse off the entire rod and if you can wipe it down with a towel. This will ensure your rod guides last a very long time. The only guide that is rust proof is the Recoil Titanium Nitride guide found on our Texas Mag Wader Series but all other rods have a stainless steel frame that can withstand saltwater for many years of use.

"I recently purchased the Helium spinning rod in 7’0” Lite-Medium-Heavy power. The first thing I did after arrival was carefully inspect the rod. Build quality is excellent! Love the guides and the handle. I’ve used it on several outings with various types of baits and am very impressed with the sensitivity and light weight. I mostly use finesse baits or some sort of soft plastic in an overall lighter profile. You can really feel those subtle bites and the power/action makes setting the hook easy. Also, the power and action of the LMH was better than I anticipated, plenty of tip, but also casts really well. I use my gear pretty hard, but don’t necessarily abuse it and at any rate the Helium feels plenty durable. This will not be my last Kistler…"

"An Awesome All-Around River Rod"

"I am one of the lucky folks that owns a legendary HE69APC Helium LTA rod from the early 2000s with the beautiful blue Zirconium rings among a couple other Helium LTA models that I still fish with. I primarily fish small Central Texas rivers from a kayak so a long rod is not suitable. I need a rod with short handles, 7' or shorter and soft, fast tips with plenty of backbone. I chose the HE693LMH as a replacement for a new Helium I broke. I was curious how the new rod stacked up to my old HE69APC. I think I have a new favorite! First of all, the new rod is lighter than the old HE69APC and better balanced. The old rod was a little bit tip heavy. The older rod is also softer in the tip which is not a bad thing but I like the faster tip on this new rod. This new rod is crazy sensitive. I swear I could feel a fish on several times with a *slack* line! If there were any recommendation on improvement, it would be to revert to the previous hook keepers. The new closed loop hook keeper is just not as versatile. So far I have only caught several hard fighting bass in current up to 3lbs but I am not worried if I catch a 6lber as the rod has plenty of backbone for being so thin and light. Love the HE693LMH!"
